Yttrium selenite, Y2(SeO3)3

Yttrium selenite, Y2(SeO3)3.12H2O, is obtained as a white precipitate by adding sodium selenite to a solution of yttrium sulphate, and is converted by warming with aqueous selenious acid into the acid selenite, Y2(SeO8)3.H2SeO3.4H2O (Cleve).
